Next, surprisingly, at the time, had no brand guidelines.
I requested to run a workshop with the EMC team and the client team to ascertain brand values and also incorporated into this a design ‘look and feel’ workshop. I worked closely on this with their Content Strategist, we were also able to define the ‘tone-of-voice’, which corresponded with the final interim brand guidelines produced.

I provided documentation outlining the ‘look and feel’ design direction, coupled with high-level UI designs and then ultimately delivered more detailed design concepts and options for the home page, category pages and product pages, plus overlay styles. These designs also included new concepts for user journeys and interaction.
