MVP 'first-pass' for speedy design-to-build of the platform
As this was Rangewell's first platform, the design needed to be simple and intuitive, catering to both non-technical users and those familiar with the system. This included our internal sales and deal-negotiation teams, external consumer clients and agents, as well as numerous UK banks.

The primary business goal was to get the designs into build quickly so the sales team could start using the platform immediately. As a result, the design process was completed on a first-pass basis, with no time allocated for refinement or revisions. While this approach had its pros and cons, it allowed the team to start using the product quickly, resulting in a rapid feedback loop that helped shape future iterations.
Document request and validation
Uploading, reviewing, and sharing documentation is a crucial step in securing business finance. The platform seamlessly integrates with the consumer-facing website, where borrowers can view the required documentation. The internal team can then review, accept, or reject the documents, or allow third parties—such as accountants or solicitors—to upload additional information.

Deal Timeline tracking, 'AirCall'/ 'Pipedrive' integration, 'Multi-way' interaction
The platform is incredibly complex and has integrations such as ‘Aircall’
and ‘Pipedrive’. We designed and integrated calls, text and email tracking; creating a Timeline showing all activity coming in / going out. We created functionality to add comments, alerts and reminders to contact or follow up with a client, colleague or other relevant party.

Project Summary
I collaborated closely with two developers (full-stack) and the product owner; being a small team we were able to iterate and build out designs at speed. My initial approach and strategy at Rangewell was creating design ‘rules’, hierarchy and simple principles for global consistency that would work across the whole platform - through to their consumer website.
• Helped introduce / integrate simple process using the team's existing tools (Azure Devops) via a Kanban board

• Sole designer - I undertook all research / UX / UI / Brand / Creative Direction

Designing complex integrations for the platform - ‘Aircall’
and ‘Pipedrive’.

• All design work for the Platform and also a redesign / rebrand of the .com consumer facing website

The internal team loved the improvements I was able to introduce to the Platform.

Research showed that the time to capture essential information from the first client 'introductory call' was greatly reduced which then aided follow-up requests for documentation. The site useability was greatly enhanced and the speed of accessing and completing various tasks such as checking uploaded client documents, was also simpler and more efficient

I also redesigned and refreshed the brand on the .com customer facing website and finance quotation process as part of my work at Rangewell. We saw over a 60% increase in clients completing online finance requests and quotations following the updates with no time allocated for any user testing or research around this
